- A gem of show.February 25, 2017 by Tatenda1978 from Canada
This is a gem of a basketball podcast. First of all I love Alan Stein’s delivery. He keeps you engaged and wanting to hear more. The episodes are short but don’t let that fool you as they are filled with tonnes of valuable information for coaches, players and parents. He also has a guest on the show from all levels of basketball and it’s great to listen to some of the great minds in basketball give out their secrets to success. I have also learnt a lot of non-basketball topics relating to the parenting side and raising kids in sports from the show as Alan is also a father of 3 so this will be a very good podcast for parents with kids in sports. This podcast is also a way for parents to connect with their kids as I listen to some episodes with my 8 year old son on the way to school or anytime we are in the car together.
- Quality not quantity!February 24, 2017 by Coach Kosh from United States
Giving great info for both players and coaches. I listen to this podcast everyday and it's short and sweet.
- Top-NotchDecember 7, 2016 by Maestro Shabreon from United States
Someone on this team has some radio experience. The cutting is über professional. Love how these podcast episodes are so concise, and get straight to the meat of the content. Saves podcast space, and I'm sure listeners like me appreciate it... I wish on the website though, there was a place to share certain episodes on different social media sites. Nonetheless, love this podcast and glad Pure Sweat has put out all this content. Myson

I found your Instagram page while going through my explore page and it literally sucked up 2 hours of my time and I didn't even mind. Honestly, I had given up on my dream of going Pro and playing D1. This season I made my first school team. I had tried out in middle school both 7th and 8th grade and didn't make it past first cuts and last year as a freshman I made it to final cuts and was devastated each time I didn't make it. I cried myself to sleep. Night after night. But this year I said to myself I'm never feeling this again, and trained every day possible, and made JV. Not what I wanted but better than I had before. I didn't play substantial minutes but I played a big role. As a freshman when I was cut my coach told me to improve my shot, and by the end of this season my coach told me I had the best shot in our entire school basketball program JV, or Varsity. You would have thought I had got my first kiss I lit up so much with joy. But by the end of the season I had begin to sit more because my hustle had disappeared. After the season I said I wouldn't play for our school again because our coaching system was so unfair because it was "politics". This podcast and Instagram profile made me realize I wasted a blessing and sports are based on hustle. I keep whining because over the last few weeks my shot has been god awful and I'm playing like trash. I am pledging now to put up a minimum of 2,000 shots a week and play more than I ever have. You have truly inspired me to be a better player than I have ever been before. And I truly appreciate it. Thank you.
